More than a plan
Your benefits don't stop at enrollment

How Amanda helps
One message, and it's handled

You ask. Amanda reads your plan, prices in-network care, and books it or fights the bill. You never make the calls.

1 You ask a question

“Is my knee MRI covered?” Type or talk, any time.

2 Amanda reads your plan

Answers from your real plan: deductible, network, tier. Never your claims.

3 Finds & prices in-network care

Nearby in-network doctors, ranked by quality and the real price, side by side, before you book.

4 Books it or drafts the dispute

She schedules the appointment, or writes the billing-error appeal for you to send. Done.

One question in. Amanda takes it all the way to handled.

The good plan costs less than the sticker

The HDHP looks pricier per paycheck until you count the $600 the company puts in your HSA. Then Amanda keeps finding more all year.

What it really costs
The cheapest plan depends on your year

No single plan wins for everyone. Here's the total for three kinds of year, cheapest flagged.

The winner follows your life. A healthy year rewards the HDHP's low premium and its +$600 HSA. A big-cost year rewards PPO Plus, where the out-of-pocket max caps sooner. Amanda re-runs this against your real plans whenever your year changes.

Estimates include premiums plus typical in-network spend for each scenario, capped at each plan's out-of-pocket max; HDHP totals net the $600 employer HSA. Illustrative, not a quote.

In plain English
The words, decoded

What the benefits words actually mean.

Deductible

What you pay for care before the plan starts chipping in.

You pay the first $1,500 of the year; then the plan starts sharing costs.
Copay

A flat fee for a visit or prescription, like $25 to see the doctor.

Strep test at urgent care: you hand over $25, the plan covers the rest.
Coinsurance

Your share of a bill after the deductible, usually a percentage.

A $2,000 MRI at 20% coinsurance: you pay $400, the plan pays $1,600.
Out-of-pocket max

The most you'll pay in a year. After it, the plan covers 100%.

Hit $6,000 in a rough year, and every covered dollar after is on the plan.
Premium

What comes out of your paycheck to have the plan, before any care.

$95 comes out each paycheck whether you see a doctor that month or not.
In-network

Doctors who agreed to your plan's rates. Cheaper for you.

Same knee X-ray: $180 in-network vs. $520 out. Check before you book.
HSA

A tax-free account for medical costs. Yours to keep, forever.

Set aside $200 a month pre-tax; unspent balance rolls over and stays yours.
Formulary

The plan's list of covered prescriptions, sorted into price tiers.

Generic Tier 1: $10. Brand-name Tier 3: $60. Ask your doctor for the cheaper tier.
