Keel/Compare/Nayya alternatives

Alternatives guide

Nayya alternatives, without the spin.

Nayya is a claims-powered guidance layer that lives inside a partner ben-admin. So the real question is simple: do you want smarter guidance inside the admin you already run, or a platform that owns the enrollment itself? The alternatives split cleanly along that line.

Every claim sourced and checked, July 2026.

Layer, or platform?

If you want a layer, guidance added to the admin you already run, your candidates are Nayya itself, ALEX's counselor, or an assistant that ships inside your admin suite. The trade is dependency: the layer only reaches the groups whose underlying platform supports it.

If you want a platform, one place that guides the employee, captures the election, and hands the broker the file, you're describing Keel's shape, or ALEX Home's employer-centric version of it. The trade runs the other way: you're adopting an enrollment system, not just switching on a feature.

The honest note before the list: Nayya's claims-data recommendation is genuinely strong, and if that is your deciding factor, the like-for-like alternatives are ALEX and Nayya, not Keel. Keel deliberately recommends from the employee's own answers and stays out of claims data.

The alternatives

The real alternatives, and who each one fits

Keel

Own the enrollment, not just the advice

A standalone, broker-deployed benefits platform. Amanda guides every employee over video, voice, SMS, email, and chat, all year; Keel runs enrollment through COBRA and compliance and produces each group's ben-admin export, no partner admin required.

Best forBrokers who want one white-labeled enrollment experience across their whole book, regardless of which admin each group runs.
Watch outRecommendations come from the employee's own inputs, transparent and logged, but not claims-powered like Nayya's.

ALEX (Jellyvision)

The decision-support pioneer, now with enrollment

The best-known benefits counselor, built on behavioral science and claims data, with years of enterprise deployments. ALEX Home extends it into enrollment, with elections flowing to carriers, payroll, and vendors.

Best forEmployers who want mature, claims-powered decision support from a vendor that can now also run the enrollment.
Watch outSold employer-direct and via brokers rather than embedded through carriers; the enrollment layer is the newest part.

Businessolver Sofia

AI assistant inside a ben-admin suite

Businessolver's AI assistant answers employee benefits questions inside its Benefitsolver administration platform.

Best forEmployers already on, or evaluating, Businessolver's platform who want the assistant included.
Watch outLike Nayya, it comes with a platform decision; it isn't a standalone layer you add to any admin.

HealthJoy Enrollment Decision Support

Announced, arriving fall 2026

HealthJoy is a year-round navigation and concierge app that announced enrollment decision support in May 2026, with general availability planned for fall 2026.

Best forEmployers who want year-round navigation plus enrollment guidance in one app and can wait for it to ship.
Watch outAnnounced isn't shipped; evaluate on delivery.

Your ben admin's built-ins

Sometimes enough

Side-by-side plan and cost displays, and on some platforms basic modeling. No personalization, but no additional vendor, contract, or data feed either.

Best forSmall groups with simple menus where the table genuinely answers the question.
Watch outZero guidance is exactly the gap that sends employers shopping for Nayya in the first place.

FAQ

Common questions

Does Nayya replace a ben admin?
No. Nayya embeds inside a partner benefits admin such as Selerix BenSelect, and the election system of record stays with that partner. It upgrades the guidance; the admin platform underneath stays.
Is there a standalone version of Nayya's guidance?
Not in its usual model. Nayya is distributed through carriers and ben-admin partners and rides inside the partner platform. A broker who wants a standalone deployment is describing a different architecture, which is the one Keel was built on.
What if claims-powered recommendations are my priority?
Then your like-for-like candidates are Nayya and ALEX, both of which build on claims data. Keel deliberately does not: it recommends from the employee's own answers, which keeps the logic transparent and auditable but not claims-driven.
What does Nayya's SuperAgent actually do?
Per Nayya's announcement, the 2025 SuperAgent performs consent-based wellness-benefit enrollment and auto-appeals denied claims, with general availability in 2026. It doesn't execute core medical, dental, or vision elections.

How we built this guide

We read Nayya's and each listed vendor's public pages, pricing, and reviews, and checked every claim in July 2026. We re-check quarterly. Two rules: we only count features Keel has shipped, and when another tool fits a job better, this page says so.
